David Wasserman

Senior Data Architect at Clear Street

David Wasserman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David currently serves as a Senior Data Architect at Clear Street since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Science Fellow at NYC Data Science Academy from January 2021 to April 2021. During this fellowship, they gained expertise in various machine learning methods and completed several data science projects.

In their earlier career, David held various roles at Moody's Corporation from 2004 to 2020. David served as a Vice President in the Data Governance team, where they managed a team and implemented data governance standards across the organization. Additionally, they worked as a Vice President in the Credit Policy department, overseeing IT projects and developing tracking tools and learning management systems. In their earlier years at Moody's, they were a Business Analyst/Developer in the Information Technology department, where they developed platforms, projection models, and credit rating models.

David's career started at American Express, where they worked as a Consultant from 2001 to 2004. In this role, they focused on SQL development, producing reports on card usage and programming custom reports using T-SQL.

Throughout their career, David has gained extensive experience in data architecture, data governance, data science, machine learning, and IT project management.

David Wasserman holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, and Philosophy from Binghamton University. In addition, they have obtained certifications in "Principles of Machine Learning: Python Edition" from Microsoft in May 2020 and in "Fred Kofman on Managing Conflict" from LinkedIn in October 2016.
