Josh Rooke-Ley is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture and development. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at CLEAR since August 2018, Josh focuses on both frontend and backend architecture for the company's biometric identity-assurance platform. Previously, in the role of Lead Mobile Engineer at CLEAR, Josh led the architecture and development of the flagship mobile applications for iOS and Android. Prior to CLEAR, Josh held the position of Senior Technology Director at R/GA, where responsibilities included software architecture, development, and agile project management. Additional experience includes roles as Technical Director, Technical Team Leader, and Solutions Architect at Uncommon Projects, as well as CTO at Organic, Inc. and various technical roles from 1999 to 2003. Josh holds an MPS in Interactive Telecommunications and a BFA in Photography, both from New York University.
