Kyle Barry

Kyle Barry is an experienced cybersecurity leader with a strong background in security engineering and team scaling across various companies. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at CLEAR since March 2025, Kyle previously held positions such as Head of Security at Guideline and Director of Engineering, Security at Instacart, focusing on product security and cloud security. At Plaid, Kyle was instrumental in expanding the security team significantly while developing a recruitment program for top talent. Early career experiences include serving as Engineering Manager for Well-being at Instagram, where product safety and user experience were prioritized, and as the first security lead at Instagram, establishing a comprehensive security roadmap. Kyle holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology.
