Erik Larson

Chief Product Officer at CLEARBOX Decisions

Erik Larson has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Chief Product Officer at Clearbox Decisions Inc. since May 2021. Prior to this, they founded and served as CEO of Cloverpop, a software-as-a-service platform for managing business decision making, from March 2015 onwards.

Before entering the software industry, Larson founded and acted as CEO of Wahanegi from February 2012 to March 2015. Erik also held various senior positions at Adobe Systems, including Senior Director of Enterprise Product & Strategy from November 2009 to February 2012 and Senior Director and General Manager of Acrobat.com from February 2007 to November 2009. During their time at Adobe, they were involved in the founding and management of Acrobat.com, an online/SaaS business focused on collaboration.

Prior to their roles at Adobe, Larson had a significant tenure at Macromedia, Inc. Erik served as Director of Product Management from January 2005 to February 2007 and Director of Marketing and Product Management from March 2000 to December 2004.

Larson began their career as a Captain in the United States Air Force, where they excelled as a combat civil engineering officer. Erik received multiple accolades, including the USAF Military Engineering Manager of the Year, recognition for the Best Federal Energy Management Program, and being part of the USAF Top Team.

Overall, Erik Larson has demonstrated their expertise in product management, strategy, and entrepreneurship throughout their successful career in both the private and military sectors.

Erik Larson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Astronautics Major and Literature Minor from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued Genetic Toxicology Research at MIT from 1992 to 1993. Later, they attended Harvard Business School and earned their MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Product Development from 1998 to 2000.
