Andrew D'Souza

Executive Chairman & Co-Founder at Clearco

Andrew D'Souza is the executive chairman and co-founder of Clearco, a company that provides cloud-based software solutions. Andrew has also served as an advisor for Kik Interactive, Inc. from January 2014 to December 2015. In this role, they led all external-facing aspects of the business, including marketing, business development, developer platform and fundraising/investor relations.

D'Souza has closed a $14M Series A investment from Ignition Partners, Relay Ventures, Export Development Canada, Salesforce Ventures and MasterCard. Andrew has also closed partnership with RBC, MasterCard and other Canadian banks to launch world's first biometrically-authenticated wearable payments pilot. Lined up banks in the US, Europe and South America to launch follow-up up pilots in their markets.

In addition, D'Souza has closed partnership with PasswordBox (Intel Security) to integrate our products into their suite of password management and security solutions. Andrew has set up trials with international airlines and hotel chains in order to test the Nymi Band's functionality with their customers. Andrew has also secured commitments from several major consumer electronics firms to integrate the Nymi technology into their products and jointly develop and market products.

D'Souza has worked closely with product and engineering teams to define user and partner requirements, prioritize features and allocate technical resources efficiently. Andrew has developed core PR strategy and presented at major technology conferences and spoke on behalf of the company to major media outlets, leading the conversation on the future of wearable technology, identity, security, and payments.

Andrew has built world-class executive team across all key functions: Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing and Finance. Andrew has also led the company's shift to focus on enterprise security and closed a series of test pilots with lighthouse customers across several key verticals.

Andrew D'Souza completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Andrew then went on to complete a Master of Science in Information Systems at Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
