Hashim Abdi

Hashim Abdi has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Hashim started their career as a Datacenter Technician at Microsoft in 2019, where they were responsible for maintaining computer and network systems. In this role, they performed preventive maintenance, managed service requests and resolutions, and oversaw emergency backups. Hashim worked at Microsoft until August 2020.

Following their time at Microsoft, Hashim joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an L2 Datacenter Technician in February 2021. Hashim'sresponsibilities included maintaining the smooth functioning of computer and network systems, performing preventive maintenance, managing service requests and resolutions, and supervising emergency backups. Hashim worked at AWS until September 2021.

Currently, Hashim is working as a Cloud Engineer at ClearDATA, starting in September 2021. As a technical professional, they assist clients in achieving their business objectives. Hashim collaborates across the organization's functional silos to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.

Hashim Abdi began their higher education journey in 2016 at Northern Virginia Community College, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. Hashim successfully completed their Associate's degree in Computer Science in 2018. Following this, in 2020, Hashim enrolled at Strayer University to further their education and focus on Information Technology. Hashim pursued a degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Cyber Security.

In terms of additional certifications, Hashim obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020. In March 2021, they achieved the CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA. Later on, in October 2021, they obtained the Scrubs Academy certification from ClearDATA. Hashim'smost recent certification was the Privacy & Security Level 1 certification, which they obtained from ClearDATA in August 2022.
