Daniel Klemm Sr

Daniel Klemm Sr has over 25 years of experience in the technology and security industry. Daniel began their career in 1991 as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they managed tasking of over $1.5M to perform IV&V and systems/software engineering support across various programs for the U.S. In 1998, they moved to TASC, where they performed technical security accreditation of automated information systems (AIS) for a classified government customer's CIO. In 2000, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers - Service Delivery Center (PwC SDC) as a Principal Consultant, where they were the Project Lead and Site Manager for a $5.5M contract providing PKI, Defense Message System (DMS) directory services, Technical Trade Studies and Office of the Future concepts. From 2002 to 2003, they worked at Deloitte @ Touche, LLP/Deloitte Consulting, LP as a Manager, developing new business leads and providing account management to Federal Government client engagements. From 2003 to 2005, they were an Information Assurance Manager/Systems Engineer V at Harris Corporation, where they were responsible for all security management activities worldwide and was a key acquisition contributor to a successful $1B Communications Operations and Maintenance contract bid. From 2005 to 2008, they were a Sr. Manager at IBM. In 2008, they moved to MITRE as a Principal Cyber Security Engineer. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Chief Technology Officer/Principal Systems Engineer at GCI, Inc., where they established a formal information assurance program for a US Government agency. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Program Manager for a $24M contract providing the US Army Chief Information Officer/G-6 policy, architecture, and engineering support at Battelle. In 2015, they became the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Cleared Solutions Inc.

Daniel Klemm Sr earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Jacksonville University between 1981 and 1984. In 1998, they obtained their Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)². In 2004, they obtained their Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA. In 2021, they obtained their Executive Certificate in Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age from Harvard University and their Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) from ISACA.
