James Downs

James Downs has worked in the field of cyber security since 1984. James started their career as a Cyber Security Specialist for the Federal Government, a role they held for 32 years. In 2016, they moved to ODNI as the Chief Information Security Officer. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Cleared Solutions Inc. as a Cyber Security Specialist.

James Downs obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of Maryland between 1981 and 1985. In April 2007, they obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
