Soumi Eachempati MD

Soumi Eachempati, MD, MBA, FACS, is a surgeon and the co-founder and CEO of Cleared4Work, which developed a specialized software platform for institutional health and safety and the Gonogo app for ER triage management. They were a Biotechnology and Healthcare Analyst at Point72 Asset Management from 2017 to 2019. They were a Professor of Surgery and Public Health at Weill Cornell Medical College from 1998 to 2017, and directed Trauma Surgery and the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. They performed over 7,000 surgeries and authored or co-authored over 200 publications, and were a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Ethics Committee and a former faculty member of the Division of Medical Ethics. They graduated from Georgetown University, Northwestern University Medical School, and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and studied at Trinity College, Oxford University, and the St. Louis Priory School.
