Ryan Stocking

Ryan Stocking has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance field. Ryan most recently worked at ClearEdge Lending as the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to that, they held the same role at First Direct Lending, LLC. Ryan also served as the Managing Director and General Counsel at Podium Mortgage Capital LLC, and as a Corporate Counsel at loanDepot. Earlier in their career, they worked as Counsel, Compliance at Carrington Mortgage Holdings, LLC, and as an Associate Attorney at Miles, Bauer, Bergstrom & Winters, LLP. Ryan began their career as a Compliance Analyst / Licensing Supervisor at New Century Mortgage.

Ryan Stocking completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management at the University of South Carolina from 1998 to 2002. Following this, from 2003 to 2006, they attended Chapman University Fowler School of Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
