Michael Capps is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at ClearEdge3D since June 2017, after previously holding the position of Software Engineer. Capps contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Colorado State University from August 2012 to June 2020, instructing courses in calculus and differential equations while managing various academic responsibilities. Prior to these roles, Capps gained practical experience as an intern at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where a simulation for deep space searches was developed and presented at the AMOS Conference 2017. Additional experience includes working as a Field Service Technician at Motoman, focusing on industrial robotics systems, and serving as an Electronics Technician in the US Navy, where Capps maintained advanced electronic systems and supervised a test equipment work center. Capps holds a PhD in Mathematics from Colorado State University and a BS in Mathematics from Winthrop University.
