Joe Stapleton has a strong background in cybersecurity and intelligence analysis. Joe started their career as an Intelligence Analyst at EOIR Technologies, Inc. in 2006, where they provided expert all-source research, analysis, and intelligence production. Joe also worked as a Watch Officer at Electronic Warfare Associates (EWA), where they participated in briefings, meetings, and conducted data transfers of sensitive material. Joe then became an Intelligence Training Program Manager at EWA, managing the National Intelligence Familiarization Course.
Joe went on to work at Intrepid Solutions and Services, Inc. as an Intelligence Training Program Manager, where they coordinated an interagency effort to provide familiarization of the National level Intelligence organizations. Joe also held the role of Digital Forensics Examiner at K2 Group, Inc., analyzing and processing collected media holdings for intelligence purposes.
In their role as Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst at Insight Global and Booz Allen Hamilton, Joe conducted research and evaluated technical and all-source intelligence related to network operations and cyber warfare tactics. Joe focused on the threat to networked weapons platforms and US and Department of Defense information networks, correlating and fusing threat data from various sources.
Joe then worked at Raytheon as a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst before joining ClearFocus Technologies as a Cyber Threat Team Lead. Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated expertise in cyber threat analysis, intelligence analysis, and training program management.
Joe Stapleton has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Cybersecurity from Liberty University, earned between 2015 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Intelligence Studies with a focus on Intelligence Analysis from American Military University, completed from 2007 to 2013. Joe has also earned the Security+ certification from CompTIA in May 2016.
