Raj Singh

Raj Singh has had a long and successful career in the automotive industry. Raj began their career in 1989 as a Design and Development Engineer at Lucas Electronics, where they worked on the development and validation of remote ABS controllers. In 1995, they moved to LucasVarity Automotive as a Senior Engineer for Braking Products, where they worked closely with manufacturing facilities to ensure design met TRW manufacturing and production test requirements. In 2003, they joined TRW Automotive Electronic Control Systems as an Engineering Project Team Leader, where they were responsible for the design and development of Electronic Control Units integral to Braking and Steering systems. In 2007, they became a Project Manager at TRW Automotive, working with the European Steering Operations Programs Office. In 2011, they became a Project Manager at ZF Group, and in 2018 they were promoted to Technical Project Manager - EPS Systems, coordinating cross functional team activities and tasks with Systems, Sub-Systems Teams, Quality, Safety, Software and Hardware. In 2019, they moved to YASA: e-motors for hybrid and electric vehicles as a Project Manager - Inverter HW, leading a cross functional team of experienced firmware, electronics, mechanical, functional safety and requirements engineers. In 2021, they returned to ZF Group as a Technical Project Manager, managing a cross functional Team associated with all aspects of development including Electronics, Safety, Quality, Integration, SW delivery, Verification, Production Tests, and Launch. In 2022, they joined ClearMotion as a Technical Project Lead.

Raj Singh began their educational journey in 1981, when they attended Matthew Boulton College in Birmingham, UK, to obtain their Higher Education - A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and British History. Raj then went on to attend Plymouth Polytechnic from 1983 to 1986, where they earned their Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, Raj Singh holds a PRINCE2 certification.
