Steve Pendergrass

Steve Pendergrass has over 20 years of professional experience in the technology industry. Steve began their career in 2000 as a Solution Delivery Leader at IBM Rational Software. In 2015, they moved to IBM as a Cloud Delivery Manager and Cloud Infrastructure, Security and Compliance Architect. In this role, they were responsible for cost management, operations supplier oversight, delivery architecture, and security and privacy compliance. Steve successfully achieved ISO 27k compliance certification and renewal for cloud offering. In 2021, Steve left IBM to become the Managing Director of a four-member LLC app development startup. Steve was responsible for business oversight and Flutter code development tasks. In the same year, they also joined New Classrooms as the Director of Technical Delivery. Currently, Steve is the Director of Security at ClearObject.

Steve Pendergrass has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Steve also holds five certifications from IBM and Coursera/IBM, including IBM Think Like a Hacker (2020), A Developer's Guide to the Internet of Things (2019), IBM Cloud Security Focal (2019), Security and Privacy by Design Foundations (2019), and A Developer's Guide to the Internet of Things (IoT) (2016).
