Tim Gruenhagen

Tim Gruenhagen is an experienced data science professional currently serving as Principal at ClearObject since June 2025. Previously, Tim held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Arrow McLaren IndyCar, where support was provided to the Data & Strategy team through the development of machine learning models and workflows. Tim's tenure at ClearObject as Lead Data Scientist involved creating computer vision, time series, and generative AI models, along with cloud-based pipelines. Additionally, Tim served as an Adjunct Instructor at Indiana University, teaching a course on applied statistical methods. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company, and various research assistant positions at Indiana University, where expertise in molecular biology and computational methods was applied. Tim earned a Master of Science in Data Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Indiana University Bloomington.
