Dan Kreh is based in Northern Virginia and oversees the DMV area, Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. His undergrad degree is in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and he has a master's in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Dan started off his career as a civilian for the Navy at NAVAIR working as a controls systems engineer supporting the V-22 helicopter. One of Dan’s rotations landed him in the cost department, where he was first introduced to schedule as an Integrated Project Management cost/schedule analyst.
Since joining ClearPlan (TruePlan at that time) in 2014, Dan has supported several unique and exciting assignments. From traveling to Romania and Poland providing onsite support for base construction and system integration with the Missile Defense Agency’s Aegis Ashore Program. To pack up his family and drive across the country to Santa Barbara, CA for a few years to be a site lead for an F-18 FMS program with Raytheon. To finally coming back to Washington DC to be the region lead and working NASA Artemis Programs: being part of Blue Origin’s bidding team for the Human Lander System and then working on the Habitation and Logistics Outpost program.
Dan’s primary area of expertise is in Program Planning/Scheduling and Earned Value Management (EVM). For Planning/Scheduling, he is most experienced in Microsoft Projects, but he is also skilled in OpenPlan and Primavera. He has years of experience in EVM on both, the Government and contractor sides, and had the unique challenge of implementing EVM on multiple Agile programs. As a side hobby that benefits his work, Dan picked up developing Visual Basic for Applications/Macros and has become quite skilled at it.
