Tim Butler

Tim Butler has extensive work experience in executive coaching and consulting. In 2019, they joined ClearRock, Inc. as an Executive Coach Consultant, where they provided executive coaching services to individuals and corporate clients across various industries such as biotech, pharma, higher education, financial services, tech, and not-for-profits. Prior to this, Tim served as the President of Courageous Coaching LLC, where they focused on improving work and life dynamics. Tim's professional journey also includes a long tenure in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Chaplain and Colonel for 25 years, from 1993 to 2018.

Tim Butler has a diverse education history. Tim obtained a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from The George Washington University in 2000. In 2012, they completed a Master of Arts in Military Strategic Studies at the USAF Air War College. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies from the USAF Air Command and Staff College in 2004. In 1988, they received a Master of Divinity in Theology from St. John’s Seminary School of Theology. Tim also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, which they obtained from St. John’s Seminary College in 1982.

Additionally, Tim Butler has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2020, they became a Practitioner of The Predictive Index and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coach Federation. In 2019, they received certifications in Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0) and 360 Assessments from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS), as well as becoming a Certified Leadership Circle Profile Practitioner from The Leadership Circle. Furthermore, in 2019, they completed the Certified Executive Leadership Coach program at Georgetown University.
