Shekar Shetty

Shekar Shetty has a strong and extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the biopharmaceutical and chemical industries. In their most recent role as CEO of Clear Scientific, Inc, they are committed to developing innovative therapies to save lives. Prior to that, they served as CEO of Nano Terra, Inc, where they played a key role in the company's growth and development. Shekar also held the positions of Deputy VP R&D and VP R&D North America at Air Liquide, where they contributed to the company's research and development efforts. Before that, they had a long tenure at Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company, where they held multiple roles, including VP R&D and Technical Director. Shekar began their career as a Project Manager at Dai-ichi Karkaria India. Overall, Shekar Shetty's experience spans over three decades and showcases their leadership skills and expertise in research and development.

Shekar Shetty started their education at Rosary High School in Pune, India, where they attended from 1966 to 1977. After completing their Junior College education in Physical Sciences at Fergusson College from 1977 to 1979, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology from 1979 to 1984. Shetty then continued their studies and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1986 to 1989. Finally, they completed their education with an MBA in Marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, from 1993 to 1995.
