Blake Stanton

Blake Stanton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Blake started their career as a Bartender at The Falcon Inn & Hotel in 2010 and then worked as a Design Engineer at 2Excel Aviation Ltd during their summer placements from 2011 to 2013. In 2012, they became an Officer Cadet in the Royal Air Force, where they received training in various disciplines and earned an ILM Level 2 Leadership Qualification.

After leaving the Royal Air Force in 2014, Blake joined Dstl as a Data Engineer on a summer placement, where they developed a process for acquiring data from the Eurofighter Typhoon radar. Blake then moved on to Atkins in 2015, where they worked as a Management Consultant. In this role, they delivered business analysis, data science, and analytics services to clients in the Government, Infrastructure, and Defense markets. One of their notable achievements was leading a team of consultants at Heathrow Airport to enable 40% growth in passenger numbers through security.

In 2020, Blake joined Sky as a Senior Analyst, leading a small team on high-profile data science and analytics projects. Blake was instrumental in implementing ML-Driven Targeted Discounts, which significantly boosted NOW TV subscriber volumes. Blake also played a key role in driving the adoption of new tools and ways of working among 300+ colleagues in Commercial & Finance.
