Lydia Skuse

Lydia Skuse has extensive work experience in the field of software development. Lydia started their career at The Traditional Plaice as a Waiting Staff from 2010 to 2013. Following that, they joined BAE Systems Applied Intelligence as an Automated Test Developer from January 2015 to April 2016, where they worked on various projects and also led the mixed netball team. Later, Lydia worked as a Technical Consultant at the same company from May 2016 to August 2017, focusing on building a new frontend for existing systems and handling client interactions. Since August 2017, they have been associated with ClearScore, initially working as a Developer until January 2020. Currently, Lydia holds the position of Senior Scala Developer at ClearScore, responsible for building and maintaining Scala microservices for credit offers. Lydia also contributes to technical hiring and organizes meditation classes for the company.

Lydia Skuse obtained a Mathematics BSc degree from Imperial College London from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they studied Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at HSDC Alton from 2009 to 2011. Lydia's education began at Weydon School from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in 2018 and Java SE7 Programmer I from Oracle in 2016.
