Noémy Scheidegger

Head of Mechanisms at ClearSpace

Noémy Scheidegger has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Noémy is currently the Head of Mechanisms at ClearSpace since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Capture System Lead Engineer at ClearSpace from November 2018 to September 2022. Before joining ClearSpace, they served as a Senior System Engineer Mechanisms at RUAG Space from December 2014 to September 2021. Noémy also worked as a Senior Mechanisms Engineer at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) from May 2013 to November 2014. Previously, they held the position of System Engineer Mechanisms at RUAG Space from April 2008 to April 2013. Noémy also has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from October 2005 to July 2011. Noémy has additional experience as a System Engineer at LMTS-EPFL, where they worked on conceptual design and system engineering for various projects, including the development of a low-cost earth sensor and a pico-satellite called "SwissCube." Noémy also completed internships at LMTS-EPFL and Mimotec SA. Sion in 2005 and 2004 respectively.

Noémy Scheidegger received their Master's degree in Micro Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2001 and 2006.
