Rick Lund

Rick Lund has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rick currently holds the position of CFO at Clearspeed, a role they have held since July 2022. Before joining Clearspeed, Rick served as a member of the Board of Directors at Bear Valley Adventure Company starting in December 2019. Rick also acted as CFO at Aria Systems from December 2020 to July 2022.

Prior to their CFO roles, Rick worked at Veeva Systems from 2013 to 2020, holding various positions including VP of Finance, Senior Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Development, and Investor Relations Director. At Veeva, Rick played a key role in establishing the investor relations function and was part of the IPO team. Rick was responsible for managing Veeva's investor relations program and provided support in areas like long-term financial planning, treasury, and corporate development.

Before their tenure at Veeva Systems, Rick worked at J.P. Morgan as part of the Software Investment Banking team. In this role, they led transactional execution teams, conducted financial analyses, supported negotiations, and worked on a variety of equity, debt, and M&A transactions, primarily focusing on the software industry.

Rick's early career includes serving as a Captain in the US Marine Corps. From 1999 to 2006, they led combat missions in Iraq as a CH-46 helicopter pilot, participating in casualty evacuation, emergency extraction, combat re-supply, and humanitarian assistance missions. From 2006 to 2008, Rick played a role in recruiting and preparing college students and recent graduates for Officer Candidate School.

Rick Lund completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Duke University from the years 1995 to 1999. Rick later pursued a Master's in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance/Accounting from The Wharton School between 2008 and 2010. In April 2017, Rick obtained the Investor Relations Charter (IRC®) certification from the National Investor Relations Institute.
