Senior Managing Director, Research & Chief Economist at Clearstead

Daniel Meges has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Daniel is currently employed as the Senior Managing Director of Research at Clearstead since January 2023. Before this, they held the position of Managing Director of Research at Clearstead from May 2021 to January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Clearstead as a Director of Research from January 2020 to May 2021, and as a Senior Research Analyst from June 2018 to January 2020.

Before joining Clearstead, Daniel worked at MarketResearch.com as the Senior Director of Client Solutions - Freedonia Custom Research from January 2017 to June 2018. Additionally, Daniel has HR management experience, having worked as an HR Manager at Shiloh Industries from February 2000 to July 2001, and as an HR Generalist at Eaton Corporation from January 1997 to February 2000.

Daniel started their career as a Labor Relations Intern at LTV Steel in 1994.

Daniel Meges completed their education in a chronological sequence. Daniel first attended Saint Ignatius High School from 1989 to 1993, where they pursued a college prep curriculum. Following high school, from 1993 to 1997, they attended Cornell University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial & Labor Relations. Later, they attended the University of Chicago from 2001 to 2002, where they completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Relations/Development Economics. Finally, in the academic year of 2002 to 2003, they enrolled in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.
