Banu Apers

Banu Apers is an experienced professional in the fields of securities lending, borrowing, and collateral management. Currently serving as the Head of Securities Lending & Borrowing at Clearstream since March 2013, Banu leads the provision of diverse securities lending products alongside triparty collateral management solutions. Previous roles include Head of Product Management and Market Development at Clearstream, as well as various positions at SWIFT, including Senior Market Manager for Post-Trade/Securities Markets. Banu's expertise was further developed through experiences at Algorithmics UK, KBC Bank NV, and Barclays Capital. Banu holds an MBA in Business Administration from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and University of Antwerp, as well as a Bachelor's degree from Boğaziçi University.
