Bernard Pire

Bernard Pire has extensive experience in IT and software engineering, currently serving as a Storage Administrator at Clearstream since August 2001, where responsibilities include administering storage systems such as DellEMC VMAX and developing automation tools in Perl, Python, and shell. Prior roles at Clearstream included positions as a Software Engineer and Oracle Development DBA, focusing on web-based workflow application development utilizing Java and related technologies. Bernard's earlier career includes consultancy roles at Euroclear through organizations like Contraste and Atos Origin, specializing in configuration management using Clearcase and Maestro. Previous positions also include software engineering at WPP and DSA Informatiques, where skills were developed in Lotus Notes administration and application development. Bernard holds an engineering degree in Electricity and Electronics from HEPL - Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège, earned between 1987 and 1991.
