Mariia Markovych

Mariia Markovych, CFA, currently serves as the Data Governance Lead at Clearstream since September 2020, where responsibilities include structuring and setting up data governance programs and implementing an enterprise Data Governance Framework. Previously, Mariia held the position of Head of Credit Models & Analytics, VP, overseeing the establishment of a team and the development of credit methodologies. Earlier roles include Head of Credit Monitoring, focusing on credit risk indicators and controls, and Senior Associate at PwC, engaging in regulatory implementations and quantitative risk model development. Mariia's experience also includes a tenure at Deutsche Bundesbank in risk analysis and serving as a tutor at The University of Freiburg. Academic qualifications include an M.Sc. in Economics with a specialization in Finance from The University of Freiburg, along with a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
