Ryan Marquez

Ryan Marquez has a diverse work experience in the field of tax and accounting. Ryan is currently the Head of Tax at Clearwater Analytics since September 2021. Before that, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Boise State University, teaching various accounting courses since May 2014. Ryan also held the position of Federal Tax Lead at Zoom from July 2020 to September 2021, where they managed financial reporting for income taxes and global income tax planning. Prior to that, they worked at Deloitte from July 2011 to June 2020, serving as a Tax Senior Manager and Co-Leader in the National Tax Accounting Group, specializing in global income tax provisions. Ryan also worked as a Tax Manager, Tax Senior, and Staff Accountant during their tenure at Deloitte, gaining extensive experience in corporate and individual taxation. Additionally, Ryan has interned at Moores Rowland Beijing CPAs as an Accounting Intern in 2010.

Ryan Marquez completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting at Vanguard University of Southern California from 2006 to 2010. Ryan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Accountancy, specializing in Taxation, at Boise State University from 2010 to 2011.
