Tom Blake

Tom Blake is a seasoned professional in the paper and packaging industry with extensive experience across various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Sr. Principal Engineer - Paperboard at Clearwater Paper Corporation since July 2025, Tom previously held the position of Plant Manager at Sonoco from September 2020 to July 2025. Prior experience includes roles such as District Sales Manager at Solenis and Paper Mill Manager at WestRock Company. Tom's career began at Boise Paper as a W3 Machine Superintendent, progressing through several supervisory and management positions at Simpson Lumber Company and Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Inc. Tom holds a degree in Paper Science and Engineering from the University of Washington, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
