Baxter Lee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Baxter started their career as an Associate at Cambridge Associates in 2003 and later joined Merrill Lynch Capital as an Assistant Vice President in Healthcare Underwriting. In 2008, they joined Harbert Management Corporation as an Associate in their Private Equity Group.

In 2010, Lee moved to Emdeon, where they held multiple roles including Director of Corporate Development and Senior Director of Financial Planning & Strategy. Baxter also served as the Vice President of Finance & Strategy for Emdeon's Payer Services Division. During their time at Emdeon, they were responsible for financial planning, strategic initiatives, and executing mergers and acquisitions.

Baxter'smost recent role was as the Chief Financial Officer at Clearwater, a healthcare cyber risk management software and consulting services provider. Clearwater is a portfolio company of Altaris Capital Partners.

Baxter Lee completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued an Executive MBA program from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
