Michael Dudley has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to information security, cybersecurity, and system administration. Michael started their career in the US Navy as a Data Processor, where they managed personnel records and provided administrative support to staff. Following their military service, Michael worked as a Technical Writer at Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc, conducting quality assurance and control of Department of Defense documentation, and co-authoring manuals and training modules. Michael then joined Centurum as a Technical Analyst in Information Assurance. At BOSH Global Services, they served as an Information Security Specialist II, while at CACI International, they worked as a System Administrator. Michael also gained experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst & IV&V Engineer at Emagine IT, Inc. and an Information Assurance professional at GRSi. Currently, they are employed as an Information Security Consultant at Clearwater. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in configuring hardware and networks, troubleshooting issues, maintaining network performance, implementing security measures, and collaborating with vendors and users.
Michael Dudley began their education at the University of North Carolina in 1998, where they studied Political Science. However, they did not obtain a degree from this institution. After a brief period at the University of North Carolina, Michael enrolled at East Carolina University in 2002 and completed their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2010. During their time at East Carolina University, they focused their studies on Political Science with a concentration in International Relations-Terrorism. Additionally, they also explored fields such as Ethnic Studies and English.
