Aaron G.

Aaron G. has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Aaron is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Cleerly since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Vangst as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2021 to April 2022. From August 2019 to March 2021, they were a Co-founder and Lead Front End Engineer at Start9 Labs, where they also handled backend, UX, and design responsibilities. Before that, they worked at SALT as a Sr Backend Engineer from March 2018 to December 2019 and at Ideas By Nature as a Backend Engineer from August 2017 to March 2018. Aaron also has experience working as a Full Stack Engineer at Rachio from June 2016 to August 2017. Prior to their software engineering roles, they worked as a Graduate Student at The University of Edinburgh from August 2014 to August 2015 and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from September 2011 to May 2014, where they designed and lectured calculus courses and assisted professors in various subjects.

From 2015 to 2016, Aaron attended Turing School of Software & Design. During this time, they studied Ruby on Rails + JS web development and software design, but did not receive a degree.

In 2014, Aaron enrolled at The University of Edinburgh and completed a Master's Degree in Mathematics with a focus on Category Theory. Aaron attended this institution until 2015.

From 2011 to 2014, Aaron pursued their Master of Arts degree in Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh.

Prior to that, between 2007 and 2011, Aaron completed their Bachelor's Degree at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in both Philosophy and Mathematics.
