Amy Thomas has extensive work experience in the clinical research field. Amy began their career in 1997 at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where they worked as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and Professional Research Assistant. Amy'sresponsibilities included coordinating and conducting clinical drug trials and basic science studies. Amy then worked at the AMC Cancer Research Center as a Project Coordinator, coordinating and conducting the "Colorado Anti-Tobacco PSA Message Sensation Value Project."
From 2002 to 2005, Amy worked at Western Urologic Associates as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, where they coordinated and conducted clinical trials in urology. Amy also developed the clinic's website content and design.
After that, they joined Rocky Mountain Sports Imaging, LLC as a Manager and Partner, where they conceived and implemented a unique health-related business targeting the prevention of bone loss and body composition for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
From 2005 to 2012, Amy worked at Denver Infectious Disease Consultants, PLLC, initially as a Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist and later as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator. Amy'sresponsibilities included performing bone densitometry testing, coordinating and conducting clinical trials in HIV/AIDS, and developing the clinic's website content and design.
In 2012, Amy joined APEX Research LLC as a Clinical Research Manager, coordinating and managing clinical trials in HIV/AIDS. Amy also integrated marketing strategies for the clinic and clinical research.
From 2020 to 2022, they worked at Vivent Health as a Clinical Research Manager, coordinating and managing clinical trials in HIV/AIDS. Amy'sresponsibilities included expanding research trials to multiple clinics, protocol feasibility, trial budgeting, and recruitment of study participants.
Most recently, Amy worked at St. Luke's Duluth, MN as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where they coordinated clinical trials. And starting in March 2023, they will begin working at Cleerly as a Clinical Trial Project Leader.
Throughout their career, Amy has demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to effectively manage clinical trials.
Amy Thomas began their education in 1992 at Hamline University, where they completed prerequisite courses. Amy then attended the University of Minnesota from 1995 to 1996, focusing on Kinesiology and Exercise Science. In 1996, Amy transferred to the University of Northern Colorado and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science in 1997.
