Kendall Wu

Kendall Wu has a diverse range of work experience in product management and commercialization. Most recently, they worked at Cleerly as a Senior Product Manager starting in 2023. Prior to that, Kendall was a Senior Product Manager at Sirona Medical from 2020 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development of AI-based features and products for Sirona Medical's cloud-native workflow software for radiology.

Before joining Sirona Medical, Kendall worked at Arterys as a Senior Product Manager from 2019 to 2020, and as a Product Manager from 2018 to 2019. At Arterys, they were involved in determining the vision and strategy for the clinical applications portfolio, leading teams of developers and designers, building relationships with partners and influencers, and creating marketing plans to drive adoption.

Prior to Arterys, Kendall worked at Invitae as a Commercial Manager from 2016 to 2017. In this role, they managed the commercialization activities for multiple clinical areas in the genetic testing space, leading the launch of new releases and updates to product offerings.

From 2015 to 2016, Kendall worked at Seamless Medical Systems as the Director of Product Management and HIPAA Officer. They were responsible for the product vision and strategy of a cloud-based patient health information platform and led the software development and design teams.

From 2013 to 2015, Kendall worked at Abbott, initially as a Product Manager after the acquisition of OptiMedica Corporation. They then moved to OptiMedica, where they served as a Senior Product Manager from 2012 to 2015. In both roles, Kendall developed and executed the global marketing strategy for medical devices in the ophthalmology space.

Kendall's earlier work experience includes roles at Affymetrix, where they worked as a Senior Product Manager from 2012 to 2012, launching novel products for clinical research and diagnostics. They also worked as a Product Manager from 2009 to 2012, launching a complete cytogenetics product. Prior to that, Kendall worked as an Associate Product Manager from 2007 to 2009, managing product lines and enhancing the sales team.

Kendall's career began with a role as a Team Co-Leader at Polar Electro Oy in 2005. They also gained experience as a Lab Assistant at Cornell University from 1994 to 1996, conducting research and statistical analysis in a laboratory setting.

Kendall Wu's education history is as follows:

- In 1992, Kendall Wu obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University.

- From 1996 to 1999, Kendall Wu attended UT Health San Antonio, studying Molecular Medicine.

- Kendall then pursued a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Baylor College of Medicine from 1999 to 2003.

- Following this, Kendall Wu became a Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine from 2003 to 2004, focusing on Molecular and Cellular Biology.

- From 2004 to 2007, Kendall Wu continued their postdoctoral studies, this time as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, specializing in Developmental Biology and Genetics.

- In 2011, Kendall Wu completed a Certificate program in Stanford Ignite: Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

- Kendall Wu also obtained several certifications, including a Certificate in Data Analytics from General Assembly in 2016, a Certificate in Digital Marketing from General Assembly in 2017, and a Certificate in Product Management from General Assembly in 2018.

- In addition to educational certifications, Kendall Wu also holds the certifications of Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager (PO/PM) from Scaled Agile, Inc., obtained in November 2018, and USA Triathlon Certified Coach - Level 1 from USA Triathlon, obtained in December 2010.
