Sheng Tian

Sheng Tian's work experience begins with a role as an IBM Extreme Blue Program Intern at IBM China Research Lab in 2006. From 2007 to 2010, Sheng worked as a Software Engineer at IBM China, where they collaborated on the design, development, and integration of IBM Mashup Center products. They also served as a project coordinator and technical lead for a research program with Sun Yat-Sen University.

In 2011, Sheng joined Propellerhead as a Software Developer before transitioning to the role of Practice Lead from 2013 to 2014. During their time at Propellerhead, they worked on various software development projects.

From 2014 to 2015, Sheng served as a Front End Architect at Unleashed Software, where they designed and implemented the migration plan for the company's UI. They also restructured the front end build process.

In 2015, Sheng joined TOMIZONE as a Senior Product Developer, where they played a leading role in the development of the Tomizone portal and initiated multiple API services.

In 2016, Sheng worked at Practiv as a Senior Contract Product Developer. In this role, they led the project for InterCity Group booking API, designed and developed development and release workflows, and set up production and staging environments on AWS.

From 2016 to 2017, Sheng worked as a Lead Software Developer at Bulletproof Group Limited.

Finally, Sheng's most recent position is at Cleerly, where they joined in 2017 as a Principal Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Manager, Engineer in March 2022.

Sheng Tian's education history begins in 1989 at Shenzhen Experimental School, where they completed their primary and secondary education. From 2000 to 2004, Sheng Tian attended Sun Yat-sen University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. They continued their education at the same university from 2005 to 2007 and obtained a Master's degree in Software Engineering.

Afterward, Sheng Tian pursued further education at The University of Auckland from 2010 to 2011, where they earned a Master's degree in Engineering. Alongside their formal education, Sheng Tian also obtained additional certifications. In 2002, they obtained a Certificate of Computer Software for Software Engineering, though the institution from which they obtained it is unknown.

More recently, Sheng Tian acquired several certifications from Coursera. In 2020, they completed courses such as "Machine Learning," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Sequence Models," and "Deep Learning Specialization." They also obtained a certification in "Natural Language Processing with Sequence Models" in September 2020. In 2017, Sheng Tian obtained the "AWS Certified Developer - Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
