Project Engineer at Clēnera

Matthew Walsh has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Performance Engineer at Clēnera since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Solar Energy Design Engineer at Tiger Solar from May 2020 to June 2022. Matthew also served as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Boise State University IAC from May 2019 to May 2020.

Matthew's previous roles include being an Honors College Resident Assistant at Boise State University from August 2018 to May 2020, where they were responsible for supporting over 70 residents and organizing residence life events. Matthew also worked as a CNC Machinist at Hydroblend Inc in 2018, operating machinery and gaining experience in engineering and machining techniques.

Before that, Matthew worked as a Sandwich Delivery Driver at Jimmy John's in 2017 and as a Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and Coach at Canterwood Golf & Country Club during the same year. At YMCA of the USA, they started as a Lifeguard in 2014, became a Head Lifeguard, managing a team of 10 lifeguards, and ensuring their competency and certifications. Matthew also worked as a Lifeguard for the City of Boise in 2016 and 2015.

Matthew Walsh attended Boise State University from 2016 to 2020. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specifically in Mechanical Engineering, with a Minor in Physics. In addition to their academic pursuits, Matthew also obtained a SCUBA certification from PADI in July 2016.
