Tom Winter

Tom Winter has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Tom currently works at Cleo as a Senior Software Engineer, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Shopify as a Software Engineer from February 2022 to February 2023. From August 2020 to January 2022, they worked at FutureLearn as a Technical Architect. Before that, they worked at Kyan as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2019 to August 2020, and at Rocksteady Music School as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2018 to April 2019. Their work experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at Deliveroo from November 2017 to April 2018, where they were involved in breaking a legacy monolith into distributed systems and monitoring performance in a high traffic environment. Their earliest known role was as a Developer at Kyan, where they worked from June 2014 to November 2017.

Tom Winter completed their BA in Philosophy (Hons) from the University of Southampton between 2005 and 2008. Later, between 2010 and 2011, they pursued a Subject Knowledge Enhancement Course in Mathematics 11-18 at the University of Brighton. In 2011, they attended the University of Brighton again, this time for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Secondary Maths), which they completed in 2012.
