Matt Gibson

Matt Gibson is a seasoned full stack Ruby and JavaScript engineer currently serving as a Lead Backend Engineer at Cleo. They possess a diverse background, having held positions such as Head of Psychology at Plumstead Manor School and leading teams at both Farmdrop and Mindful Chef. With a strong interest in Lean development practices and human factors in technology, Matt has successfully directed projects that contributed to notable growth, including scaling a company to £58M in sales at Mindful Chef. They are also a founding member of Inaura, a charity focused on alternatives to school exclusion, where they implemented innovative educational technologies. Matt’s educational qualifications include a BSc from the University of Westminster and a PGCE from the University of London.
