Orestis Tsinalis is a Principal ML Engineer with over nine years of experience in delivering end-to-end AI systems across various domains, including media, sports, education, healthcare, and finance. Currently, Orestis serves as Principal ML Engineer at Cleo and has previously held roles such as Founding CTO and Principal AI Engineer at BIGBAG and Head of Machine Learning & Data at Upshot. Orestis’s expertise encompasses dataset engineering, machine learning model development, and product strategy, underpinned by a PhD in deep learning from Imperial College London. Throughout their career, Orestis has led high-performing engineering teams and implemented cutting-edge solutions in generative AI, NLP, and computer vision.
