Sam Taylor

Sam Taylor is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in data and engineering leadership. As VP Technology at Cleo since February 2021, Sam has driven significant growth in the tech team, overseeing advancements in generative AI and achieving notable revenue and user growth. Previously, Sam served as VP Data at Cleo, where efforts focused on establishing a robust data function. Prior to Cleo, Sam held multiple roles at Trainline, including Head of Data, where leadership led to the successful development of major data products. Experience also includes roles as Decision Scientist at Wonga.com and Software Engineer positions at BlackBerry and Wessex Technology Group. Sam's academic background includes degrees in Machine Learning and Computer Science from the University of Bristol and a BSc in Business and Computer Science from Aston University.
