Alexander Haque

Alexander Haque has a wealth of professional experience in a variety of roles. Alexander began their career in 2007 as a Financial Services Representative and Customer Service Representative at TD. In 2014, they became the Operations and Marketing Manager and Instructor for the Lean LaunchPad Program at the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship, and also served as the President of the Student Exec Team. Additionally, in 2014 they founded Polar Labs, a McGill-based R&D company that makes freeze resistant products. Alexander then went on to become an Advisor and Chief Executive Officer of Retinad, an analytics platform for virtual reality, which was acquired by LumiereVR in 2018. That same year, they also became the Chief Operating Officer of LumiereVR. In 2016, they became the Co-Organizer of Non-Gaming XR. In 2019, they became the Founder of Clerk Chat, the Strategic Business Development Director of STRIVR, and the Partnerships Manager of Samsung Next. Finally, in 2021 they became the Partner Engagement Manager at Netflix.

Alexander Haque's education history includes completing an Honours Bachelors of Arts from the University of Toronto - University College in Politics and Philosophy from 2008 to 2011. Alexander then attended Universit\u00e9 Laval from 2011 to 2013, studying Law and obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) before dropping out. From 2013 to 2015, they attended McGill University, studying Graduate Management & Computer Science without obtaining a degree. Finally, they are currently enrolled in Udacity's VR Developer Nanodegree program, focusing on Virtual & Augmented Reality Programming.
