Roy Anger

Roy Anger has a diverse work experience across various roles and industries.

From 2023 to present, they are working as a Developer Support Engineer at Clerk.com.

In 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at Elsewhere. In this role, they converted projects, developed custom components, and launched a UI rework using React, TypeScript, TypeORM, Node, Express, AWS, PassportJS, and React Router.

From 2016 to 2022, Roy worked at R/Anger Design and Development as a Wordpress Developer. Roy managed website design and development for local businesses, handling SEO, lead generation, content updates, and maintenance.

In 2021, they had an internship-like opportunity as a Full-stack Developer at Co.Lab, where they worked on a React and Node based MVP product with cross-discipline teams using Redux, React-Query, SASS, Passport Auth, Prisma, and GraphQL.

Prior to that, Roy was the Owner and Head Coach at CrossFit Sixth Gear from 2013 to 2016. Roy also worked as a TRX Team Coach and Personal Trainer at GoodLife Fitness from 2009 to 2012.

Roy Anger earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from York University, attending from 1997 to 1999. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Front End Development Libraries, JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures, and Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in December 2021.
