Matt Rizzo

Matt Rizzo has a diverse range of work experience. Matt started off as a Developer in a summer job at Bank of Valletta plc in 2004. The following year, they worked as an ICT Officer at Izola Bank. In 2006, they joined Ascent Software as a Senior Developer and eventually became a Project Leader, leading a team of around 20 developers. During their tenure at Ascent Software, they worked on various software projects in industries such as telecommunication billing, real estate, in-flight catering, and health. Matt specialized in SharePoint and Office 365 solutions. In 2016, they co-founded Cleverbit Software. In 2017, they took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at InScope-AML, a software product that automates anti-money laundering processes.

Matt Rizzo obtained their M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Malta in the years 2006 to 2007. Prior to this, they also completed their BSc I.T. Hons in Computer Science from the same university, from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, Matt has obtained certifications such as the Sitecore Certified Professional Developer from Sitecore in January 2013 and the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing from ISEB, although the specific month and year of the latter certification are unknown.
