Alexander Bacon has a diverse work experience in various industries. Alexander started their career as a Nuclear Electronics Technician in 2013 in the US Navy, where they were responsible for the maintenance and repair of electronic instrumentation and control systems on a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. Alexander then progressed to become a Reactor Operator, operating the nuclear power plant onboard the aircraft carrier. From 2017 to 2019, they also worked as an Electronics Maintenance Technician, responsible for planned maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic equipment.
In 2010, Alexander worked as a Manufacturing Technician at Bruce Diamond, where they gained experience in machining, assembly, and finishing of parts for industrial diamond tools using various machines and equipment.
Since 2020, Alexander has been working as a Project Engineer at Clever Devices. In this role, they are responsible for system integration and design on the New York City MTA Bus Radio Project. Alexander also develops testing and troubleshooting processes for electronic hardware and software systems and ensures seamless integration of systems for the customer. Additionally, they develop processes for software improvements and configuration management for the largest bus fleet in North America.
Alexander Bacon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2013 to 2014, they pursued Nuclear Engineering Technology/Technician at the Nuclear Power School - Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC). Following this, in 2014 and 2015, they attended the Nuclear Power Training Unit Ballston Spa to study Nuclear Power Plant Operations.
