Edward G. has had a diverse work experience over the years. Edward began their career in 1982 as an Applications Engineer at General Instruments, Inc., where they created keyboard encoders and sound generators. Edward then moved on to co-found Hearsay Inc. in 1986, where they designed consumer products for the emerging Home PC market and established manufacturing facilities and service centers.

In 1990, Edward joined Savasta & Co. as a Senior Programmer for a year before moving to Chemical Bank as a Systems Analyst from 1991 to 1993. At Chemical Bank, they designed and maintained financial management system components.

Edward then joined Veeco Instruments in 1993 as an Engineering Manager, where they managed geographically distributed software and electrical engineering teams. Edward was responsible for designing products marketed to the data storage industry and negotiated customer feature sets and delivery schedules.

In 2002, Edward worked at SubwayInfo.com as a Consultant, where they helped provide NYC commuters with subway directions. Edward then moved on to Goldman Sachs, where they developed and maintained surveillance and exception report generators to monitor customer equities trading activity.

From 2003 to 2006, Edward served as the Director of Production Systems at Riptide Trading, Inc., managing technical aspects and general IT operations. Edward then worked as the East Coast Engineering Manager at Wolters Kluwer from 2006 to 2007, where they managed developers, quality management personnel, project managers, and IT operations and support for the CaseVault product and other business applications.

Edward's most recent role was as a Distinguished Systems Engineer at Clever Devices, starting in 2007. No end date is provided for this position.

Edward G. completed their educational journey with a Master of Science degree in Management of Technology (MSMOT) from the New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. Edward attended the school from 1999 to 2001, focusing on subjects such as e-commerce, negotiations, intellectual property, and the management of technology. Prior to their master's degree, Edward G. pursued their undergraduate studies at the same institution. From 1984 to 1998, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and Computer Science. Alongside their formal education, Edward G. also acquired various certifications in Splunk, including the Splunk Core Certified Power User and Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin, both obtained in July 2021.
