Greg Benson

Greg Benson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Greg is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Clever Devices since July 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Advise Technologies as a Software Engineer from December 2010 to July 2018.

Greg also has experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Catchpoint Systems, Inc. where they developed a server application in C# and created tests for web monitoring libraries. Greg interned at Catchpoint Systems from May 2010 to November 2010.

In 2009, Greg worked as a Research Assistant at Research Foundation CUNY, leading a student research team for the 2009 IJCAI Robotics Exhibition. Greg also worked as a Sales Account Manager at Japan Servo USA Inc. from November 2004 to January 2008, managing accounts with major firms and acting as a liaison between US firms and Japanese HQ.

Before that, Greg worked as a freelance English Instructor and Translator in Osaka, Japan from January 2002 to April 2004, and as the Head English Instructor at AEON Corporation from January 1999 to January 2002.

Greg's early work experience includes roles as a Computer Lab Consultant, Chemistry Lab Assistant, and Physics Teaching Assistant at the State University of New York at Geneseo from August 1993 to May 1998.

Greg Benson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Mathematics from SUNY Geneseo between 1993 and 1998. Greg then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Computer Science at Brooklyn College, which they completed from 2008 to 2009.
