Joseph Krecker

Joseph Krecker has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Joseph started their career at Lepel Corporation, where they held various roles including Test Engineer, Standard Product Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Local System Administrator. Joseph then joined SMSC, where they worked as a Software Test Engineer, Software Engineer II, and Senior Software Engineer. During their time at SMSC, they gained experience in software development and testing. Most recently, Joseph worked at Clever Devices as a Senior QA Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for validating Data Dictionaries for Automatic Vehicle Monitoring software. Joseph developed a GUI in C/C++ for running static checks against the Dictionaries and later ported it to VB and C#. Joseph also enhanced the GUI to create a payload file from the Dictionary itself and implemented dynamic error checking using SQL server. Their contributions significantly improved the validation process, increasing both throughput and accuracy.

Joseph Krecker attended Centereach HS from 1984 to 1987. Joseph then went on to study at Stony Brook University from 1987 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a focus in Electrical Engineering.
