Chief Technology Officer at Cleverea

Sergio González has been working in the technology sector since 2009. Sergio began their career as a JAVA Developer Internship at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2009. In 2011, they moved on to become a Frontend Developer at Interdigital, where they were responsible for web development with LAMP technologies, development of web applications/backend using PHP and AJAX technology, and implementation of libraries to connect to Google Maps JavaScript API v3. In 2012, they joined Acceso as a Big Data Architect and Business Intelligence Developer, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining a corporate tool focused on social media analysis, programming in a platform under Java/Spring technologies in a multi-maven project, connected to a graph database created from Hadoop system, design, development, and maintenance of Elastic Search system, design, development, and management of ETL processes based on JAVA technologies, and reporting generated with Jaspersoft Business Intelligence Suite. In 2015, they moved on to become a Backend Engineer & Scrum Master at Wallapop. Most recently, they have been the Chief Technology Officer at Cleverea since 2019.

Sergio González obtained their Telecommunications engineering degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 2006 and 2010. Sergio then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from EAE Business School between 2012 and 2014. In 2016, they completed an Executive Master in Digital Business (EMDB) from Esade. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Digital Marketing Silicon Valley Program from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business in October 2017, Kanban System Design (KMP I) from Lean Kanban Inc., and Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) from Scrum.org.
