Joost de Meyer is a seasoned professional in the incentive travel and cruise industry with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Transcend Cruises, Joost de Meyer brings insights to a new B2B river cruise company launching sustainable luxury ships in 2024. As Chairman and CEO of First Incentive Travel Inc. since 2000, Joost specializes in corporate incentive travel, enhancing business performance through incentive programs and team-building activities. Additional advisory positions include Co-Owner of Come Visit Jamaica Tours and Retreats, member of several advisory boards including CLIA and the Rosen College of Hospitality Management, and past trustee board member of the Incentive Research Foundation. An entrepreneurial background includes ownership of AlliedPRA Orlando from 2006 to 2016, and ongoing engagement with industry organizations highlights a commitment to advancing MICE tourism.
