Ján Kapusta

Ján Kapusta has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ján is currently the CTO and Co-founder of ClickClickDrive GmbH, being responsible for creating a seamless access to mobility in Germany. Prior to this, Ján was a Lead Technical Consultant at JUST EAT, where they handled the post merger integration of Hungryhouse and JustEat tech stack and products.

Ján also worked at Delivery Hero, where they held several roles including Head of Development, Lead Software Developer, and Senior Backend Developer. In these positions, they managed development teams, planned and executed interviews, and took full technical responsibility for various projects. Ján also worked closely with Devops and Business Intelligence teams.

Before their time at Delivery Hero, Ján worked at hungryhouse as a Web Developer. Ján was responsible for backend development and back-office tools, utilizing technologies such as PHP, Perl, jQuery, and databases like MySQL and Redis. Ján also practiced Agile development using SCRUM methodology.

Ján started their career as a Web Developer at FATCHILLI.COM, where they worked on PHP backend and JS frontend features, internal C++ tools, and database architecture and optimization.

Ján Kapusta pursued their education in the field of Computer Science, Geographic Information Science, and Cartography at Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor's Degree. In 2005, they also studied Internet and Mobile applications at Oulu University of Applied Sciences for a brief period. Additionally, in June 2009, Ján Kapusta obtained a certification as a Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems.
