Chris Bender

Chris Bender is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience across various roles in security engineering and consulting. Currently serving as Vice President of Security and CISO at ClickUp since June 2021, Chris previously held the position of President at Incode Corporation, providing technical and business consulting for secure hardware, software, and cloud solutions. As the founding Vice President of Secure Communications at Digital14 Canada from February 2015 to June 2021, Chris led the development and release of a secure communication application. Earlier roles included Director of Security Services at Touchstone ID, Director of Security Engineering at Motorola, and Director of Software Security at BlackBerry/QNX Software Systems, where Chris significantly contributed to security advancements and team development. Chris holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo and is certified as a CSSLP by (ISC)^2.
